Setting up a home network with opensuse

I already have a home network setup between my windows computers in my house. I was wondering how to hook my opensuse computer up to it?

Is it a windows based system? If so try running the windows network setup wizard on both systems. Or try mapping the drives. You are probably going to need to provide more information for someone to get you some real solutions.

I think he means that if he does that, it may recognize the computer inside Windows, but not necessarily in OpenSUSE.

Here's some info I turned up:

I know ubuntu can see workgroups...but the file transfers can only go one way. I never tried it if you had a FAT32 partition on the windows machine though...it could be a two way transfer being that Nix uses FAT and the FAT32 is almost the same file system.

Also being that Novell pretty much owns suse now,and Novell are huge in servers...you'd think they'd have used some of their knowledge and beefed up the networking areas.
