Question Ubuntu Not Installing.

Ok, so... I have my hard drive partitioned for a new operating system (Linux -Ubuntu-) And, it's set to LINUX EXT2, like it was recommended.

I have Ubuntu burned as an ISO on a disk. And when I go to boot from disc, it loads the Ubuntu menu... Now, the first option is, Start Or Install Ubuntu...

But, when I select this option... nothing happens... The only working option on the menu, is Boot From Hard Disk....

I've burned this 2 seperate times, at 2x speed... So I'm out of ideas...

What do you guys think?

P.S. I have more than enough ram.

I know the version of ubuntu I have is 7.04..so I don't know how 7.10 is setup yet....but in mine you can boot to the disk as a live disk, then it will have an icon on the desktop that you can click to install it.

Oh, well. You think I should download 7.4 or should I give Fedora 8 a shot?

have you tried to "start" ubuntu? Maybe it has the icon on the desktop like 7.04 does.

Inside your system unit.. this is the card were you are connecting your VGA jack from your monitor to your system unit.

e.g.
*Gforce 8800GT*
*ATI RADEAN 9000*

P.S: Their are also build-in video cards that attach directly to your mobo.
