sup guys,
haven't posted in a long while.I've been busy learning linux ..so how's every one?![]() ok so i have a dual boot, Vista and Ubuntu 7.10,...Vista was installed first then Ubuntu 7.04 then i upgraded to 7.10.......so now i want to uninstall Win Vista and have Ubuntu only...ive searched around and cant find any info on how to do this...ive downloaded gparted but i dont know how to use it and dont want to mess stuff up....any help would be greatly appreciated..Thnx ![]()

In Gparted (GNome), you must find which partition have vista on it. And delete that partition. Then you must resize your Ubuntu partition "Only if you want the space" Otherwise it will be Un-allocated.
Next, you must set the Ubuntu partition as Active and boot. Now the tricky part, which is setting Grub, or what ever bootloader to load Ubuntu. On that part I dont know much about. Sorry

Thnx Kam....Ill try that and see if it works.......and the GRUB part then ill just have to search around for some more info on how to do it....
