So i been starting to use firefox lately. and i did notice the speed difference between IE. But I think that's all firefox has. I mean the icons for back and forward is harder to use. and SCROLLS is the most annoying thing in the world. IE is more user friendly. So if you can't wait 1second delay with IE get firefox. But you don't like to use firefox and 1second isn't a big deal than use IE.

IMO, you just have to give it some time to sink in...like all new things. The tabbed browsing is what sold me.

Did you get 1.5 or 2.0? Also, have you applied the tweaks in the tut section?

I switched to Opera a few years ago when tabbed browsing was introduced. I use FF now, but I haven't been back to IE since. You snooze, you loose is what I say about IE.

I've stood by my claim that is "firefox is better,because it's worse". Basicly it's better because it doesn't do all the things that IE does. Like retain activeX scripts and all that jargon....which in the end will save you. I mean,the only person you have to ask is LS about how many apps he needed to run to fill in the holes that IE had.

IE isn't bad,it's the activeX and active scripting that kills it for me.

microtek, glad you came over to the "Users of Fox". Make sure you use the speed up guide to optimize your Firefox. If you didn't already, I recommend using version 1.5. t is available here.

I have 2.0. I don't see the point of tab. I like to open new windows rather than tab. But anyway IE 7 also have tab. Just to let you guys know, I fully switch my browser to firefox.

EDIT:IE 6 is better than IE 7

dang it, i'm having trouble with firefox.

I know it's hard to see, But the text is werid. It looks fine in IE.

The only thing I can see is "Oh No - I'm EMO".

Not all profile is like this. Only some. I hope FF isn't annoying like this all the time.

From the looks of it, something wrong with your fonts allocating. Best bet it make sure you have all your fonts, especially "Time new roman, arial, courier"
