Edit- Got it.
Nevermind. Yet still having troubles installing TinyXP. Anything specific I must follow/do? |

Well... Actually, with Tiny XP you can't just download it, burn it, and install it... First, when you download it, you need to use something like Winrar or Magic ISO to extract all the files into one folder, open that folder, and find the Stand Alone folder that comes in Tiny XP... There are 4 batch files, and you need to read the instructions to know which batch file you need... I chose the first one...
Then, you need to double click that batch file, and your command prompt will open up, and write that file as an ISO on your C:\ .. From there, you need a program to burn ISO files onto cd's. And I recommend to burn no faster than 8x for an ISO. Once thats done, you boot from the ISO disc like Punqewe was telling you. Thats basicaly it.

that said though, it was good advice to follow the instructions that you get with programs... so many people run into problems because they won't read things through properly ![]() @stig - if you could please explain a bit more about what you're having problems with when installing tinyxp, then we can try to help you, thanks

Yes, but I knew which version he had lol, and thats how you have to do it with rev06 =p
I know because it's the same one I have lol... But yes, Paddy is right, if people would take the time to read instructions they would have a lot less problems =p.

Haven't used Tiny XP myself, seems like most people have run into problems with it on OEM PC's, with Tiny XP not having the right drivers and such. I don't know the logistics of Tiny XP in a dual-boot scenario, you may want want to research that possibility before setting it up. It seems like the kinda thing that could cause problems if not researched properly. 10GB's should be plenty, as long as you don't plan on batch downloading large groups files or backing up DVD's on the Windows side.

Yep dual boot works fine with tinyxp, that's how mine is setup and haven't had any probs with it.
As LS said though, it depends on YOUR setup, like with mine I can't get the digital camera drivers to setup properly for some reason... but for me that's not a problem as I just take the SD card out of the camera and use a card reader instead.
