What did you use to mount it? Daemon tools is freeware commonly used for mounting PC games, Alcohol 120% also comes with a virtual drive. Daemon tools should take care of any copy protection or DRM measures.

except for that starforce protection where you have to make your optical drives invisible or remove them entirely. I think that's what's happening here. Maybe look that up somewhere...

when I read 'mounting game' I thought it'd be a bit more sexy than what it is.

I have NFS Pro Street on my PC, also mounted with Daemon Tools and it worked perfectly fine on my XP Pro. Did you also have a No CD crack that you are using to start the game?

I saw that release too. sounded like a pain so i skipped it and got one that was a simple mount, install, copy crack & play. You may just want to get another release rather than spending too much time trying to work with that one.

To be perfectly honest compared to Most Wanted and Carbon, Pro Street really bites. I will be uninstalling it very soon. Not worth my hard drive space.

YASU is a horrible pain in the rear. Avoid any "use YASU to play" games. I used it once for that lame star wars RTS a while ago. Just wait for an "official" release (a nocd or nodvd backup excecutable). There is one for NFS pro street.

And btw, I agree with you Steimy. I've found nothing special at all about pro street.
