Quick Quick Help!

this store i wanna go to closes in about an hour.

i need help as to how i can check the type of RAM i need to buy for my computer.


where can i find this?

What type of PC is it? When was it purchased/built?

Just to add, most likely it will be a DDR2 Ram, 533Mhz. You can download CPU-z and it will show you too.

256MBDDR PC2300 EMPTY

Each memory slot can hold DDR PC2700,DDR PC3200 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.*



*Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory.

Wow, that must be an old computer, 3 years or older...

There you have it, you need DDR PC3200. But to be safe, run CPU-z, and check the memory tab.

3 years? LMFAO

i am in grade 12, i got my computer when i was in grade 7.
you do the math LOL


but it still works like a charm. when i get home i will put the RAM in and reboot my computer as i havent ever done that yet and VIOLA, it will seem brand new.

lol, pretty old. Anyways, from the application CPU-Z you should have a solid idea of what you need.

ye it was DDR PC3200

it said my comp was 146 MHz...something like that?
