mulleter b8 does work very well for this particular purpose. I've ran it side by side with schtroms and XBC checking the disks compared to the images that I have of my originals and they all come up with the same. Pretty soon, mulleter, XBC and schtroms will include an MD5 checker. This way, you can run the MD5 and compare it on an online database to see if in fact everything is the same.
