There isn't a work around for that though. Well, besides talking it over with your buddies that have the same internet provider as you that is. Ping times have to be around 30 milliseconds to be able to play like that. So, it does limit ones choices.

okay i know the XBOX ip address and all but how do you connect through the 360 to live.. is it just automatic..? or is there an "app" i have to get? |

To answer your question, the Xbox 360 is DHCP, it will get an IP on its own.

lol okay didnt know mag.. but i know its dhcp and i know how to get the ip addy.. im asking how do you get on LIVE with this if your blocked and under 30ms? is there an app or does it automatically connect.

I've been trying that but it times out every time.
Not quite sure I follow, but if you're blocked/banned from LIVE, you can't connect to it. You have to use something like X-Link Kai or Leaf. |

Yes MAG, That is where MS gets you now that they couldn't before. see before on the old Xbox there was no ping timer. So you can connect through any of the free networks loke Kai, XBconnect or Leaf Networks. Now on the 360, as mentioned, you have to be in a very specific range to be able to use it. So it forces a lot more people to be dependant on Live for their online gaming.
As for the question of how it connects to Live, well most Xbox's are set up so that once you have an account and your internet connection configured and hooked up it will automatically connect when you start the 360 up.
