can someone please guide me thorugh modding the v59 HIT DRIVE..

ive messed it up pretty badly to where the xbox wont even read REAL GAMES now.. it comes up on the tv says.. please insert game into a xbox 360 console..

before it would still read the REAL games and just say open tray for burnt copies, but after my last flash attempt it wont read anything...

It might be bricked... your best bet is to read through Textbook's guide, or check around sites like xbox-scene.com or xboxhacker.net for info.

Check your dumps and hacked bins with 360 firmware toolbox and see if you have one that has your dvd key in it. If you flashed it without your valid key, you would see these symptoms (insert this into a 360 to play blah blah blah) If you find a dump or a hacked bin with your valid key, flash that to your drive and that symptom should stop. If it has a valid key already, then somethings not right. You may have to buy a replacement drive and flash it with a good dump if you still have one.
