Hello Everyone,
I need some help from those who might know. I was interested in buying a Sony DRU-840A Dual Layer Burner to burn 360 backups. I have read many threads on different forums regarding certain burners not being compatible with creating 360 backups. Would anyone know if the Sony DRU-840A would be good for making 360 backups? I appreciate all the help anyone can give me. Thanks |

If you mean just burning the filed then any DVD burner will work. I prefer BenQ myself but everyone likes something different.
Just make sure you get one that can do dual layer and that can Booktype/bitset media from DVD+R DL to DVD-Rom If you mean making a back up from an original then you will need two drives, a burner and one of these DVD-Rom drives from Samsung. sh-d162d (IDE) and the sh-d163b (SATA) Flashed with Kreon firmware, can be found on Ebay.
