Formating Hard Drive?

I was just wondering, is there any way to get any kind of external hard drive and format it in FAT32 so that you can actually hook it up to a 360, and still be able to put XBOX LIVE content on it? (Oh, i havnt been here lately, so if anything has come up, please tell me )

As far as transferring stuff from the 360 to an external HDD, you have to use an item called XSATA from Datel. It's similar to ARMAX for other systems. It will allow you to transfer items between the 360 HDD and your PC. From there you can store the 360 items on an external HDD if you wish. Can you format an external HDD and use it to store Live content? I don't think so. There used to be a way to clone 360 HDD's using a certain model Western Digital SATA HDD. From what I remember, the process was buggy and most people advised against it.

I will get to the point, you must download this command prompt application that will format NTFS to FAT32.

Even better, I will link it to you.

Extract it to the Desktop

Go top Start > Run, Type in cmd

In the command prompt, type in... (Each line is "pressing enter")

cd desktop
fat32format <drive letter>:

For example
fat32format M:

M being your external drive.
