Video Format's for Xbox 360???

What format's can the 360 read? The one that I tried was AVI and I was pretty certain those worked on the XBOX 360???? If there are certain ones, what program would be good for reformatting the video's?? Or if anyone has a better suggestion, see the thing is (I'm a lazy bastard), I would rather sit in my comfy chair than sit at the computer and watch these movie's, no porn... yet but I have tried swapping them with a memory stick pro duo 4GB card but in order to plug in to the Xbox I have to use the PSP. I have ordered a USB adapter for the card. Maybe the PSP isn't allowing this to work?? I HAVE used the psp for porn but not for movies. Any suggestion's, pointer's, tip's?

I know the xbox will read Divx AVI's not Xvid AVI's. To check on what you have, download a program call gspot. Check the AVI video, and see which one it is. The xbox will also play HD WMV (profile 9).

There are alot of video converters that will convert them, but preferably for Divx format, you should use the Divx Movie converter. Other than that, you can try other software but sometimes it may not play on the 360, cause it will still use xvid codec to encode the movies.

Simply, all the cheap one are "retarded" and not even worth it.

Videora Xbox360 Converter - Xbox360 Video Converter

That one is free, its decent, but alot of ads....

The 360 does support a bit more media codecs nowadays, including mpeg 4, DivX, h.264 to name a few. Read the 360 media faq here: Xbox.com | System Use - Xbox 360 Video Playback FAQ

With the DivX update, it will only play DivX movies on the 360 that originally installed the DivX update from Live. If you use the HDD that originally installed the DivX update on another 360, then that 360 will need to be connected to XBL to use DivX. It's just a lame form of DRM from Microsoft.
