I've seen em made in Singapore, not sure about India though. If anything you scan them with CD/DVD Speed and see if the quality results are comparable to made in Taiwan or Singapore Verb's. If they still use MKM dyes there shouldn't be any difference in quality. I only had one coaster in about 130 Xbox 360 burns that was because of the media, all I used was Verb's. They should be okay, but if you get a weird media ID when running them through ImgBurn, they might be fakes.

supermediastore.com or newegg.com

I'm guessing that they've only been making Verbs in India for about six months or so. It's nothing to worry about, I just wasn't aware that India was one of the places Verbatims were outsourced to.

Avoid the 10x speed Verb's for 360 backups. They cost more than the 6x versions and I've read that they don't work real well for the 360. Go with these: Newegg.com - Verbatim 8.5GB 2.4X - 6X DVD+R DL 10 pack x 2 Spindle Double Layer Disc - CD / DVD Media
