Linksbox is affective, but like Achilles3 says, it isn't a pleasant experience to use. If you want to be able to surf the web very well with you xbox, ket yourself a usb keyboard and mouse, make a usb adapter for your xbox, install xdsl on the xbox and use firefox to surf the web. Adding the keyboard and mouse will make things extremely easy to get around with and firefox will make surfing the web on your xbox a breeze. If you get Auto Installer Deluxe 2.11 final, you'll be able to install linksbox or xdsl and lots of other applications right from that disk.

I would have to say go with xdsl since it would let you use firefox. And the sticky keys are way better to deal with then that weird rotary typie-thing that linksbox uses.
