Hello Guy's


I am just posting the following information for everyone's notice, just to let all of you know, who may i add have been very helpful and understanding in my recent quest's to get my crystal xbox V.1.6 back into a wroking state, as i myself tried to successfully do/attempt a softmod, any hopw after all the sheer struggle of almost two or more week's work, on trying to get the xbox working, almost every single attempt was failed, i have tried with XBOXHDM, on several occasion's, i used my friend's chipped xbox, but without success, i also tried the hotswap method, on several occasion's, and that was also tried on my main pc, and also my secondary pc, without luck, i was then beginning to clutch at extreme straw's and through searching and trawling through certain xbox site's, seven sin's, xtremesource, xbox scene, and not too mention, a few more beside's, i was even thinking of sending my xbox all the way out form Leed's to Sadalius in Kentucky , for him to fix my crystal xbox, and Sadalius was replying and saying he would loike to help get it sorted, and then i began to pack up the cxbox and ship it to Sadalius, and then i began to weigh up my option's, i went through the usual thought's MONEY (important) TIME, and of course how long before i get back my crystal xbox????? i did a lot of serious thinking and decision making, and came up with what is the best option for me, and then i was flicking through my bookmark's, and came across ghost2fitter's and remembered how happy they had made me when they not only chipped my PS2, but also because they put a brand new laser in my PS2 for FREE, so i decided that i would go onto their website and send them an email regarding my problem, they responded to my email within ten or so minute's ( i was shocked at the speed of the response) and they said Yes we can chip your xbox with the Executer 2.6 chip, and upgrade your HDD to a 160gb that you have asked for, without any problem's, i replied bback to the email, and i then sent off the xbox yesterday to them, and i know that it will come back in a good professional chipped state, and there will be no more problem's with my crystal xbox, that was bought for me a couple of Xmas's ago by my lovely girlfriend??

They (ghost2fitter's) are doing some good deal's on the hard drive's that they are selling, i consider a 160GB hard drive at £67.00 to be a very fair price indeed??

What do you people think about that kind of pricing structure :-D
btw Royal Mail postage system is not becoming very expensive indeed, it cost me just short of £15.00 to send my xbox to ghost2fitter's recorded/signed for delivery?? :-(

what are they charging for the total work? (american dollars if possible)

The total cost of the overall work done on my crystal xbox will be as follow's, until i get the overall quote email from ghost2fitter's, it will be similar to my assumption of the cost £118.94 GBP, so if you double'd that into dollar's chip $78.74, hard drive $ 117.26, and then return delivery to my address £7.95GBP in usd around 16 dollar's, hope this help's you with your querie

btw i downloaded the xlink kai, the other night and set up an account, and then started up the program on my main pc, and you would not believe what happened, the prog F****D up my machine, i was not very happy at all, i deleted it from teh system, after making sure my pc was all right first???

I may try again in a while but i am not too sure

SS, I hate that you had to pay so much to get your crystal back in the game. I wouldn't give up on softmodding though. If you get it down, it can be a way to recoop some of your money from your crystal.

I would not worry abouut it, my friend, it is a fact that sometime's there is a time to give up, and this was the case here, i will be pleased to have everything working fine?? i live in hope ha ha ha, but nothing has been in vain, i have learned quite a lot from this exercise :-D

Anyhow i do not like being so negative, so on a positive note, all is good ? despite the money
