Changin Fonts in XBOX

Hello again,

So there is a font folder on my C: partition. I figured that I can transfer a font there and work my way around my dashboard to find a way to switch to that font. No such luck. Any tips?

Yeah, I'd agree. It's not worth risking some major goat orgy over something as trivial as fonts. One thing you should do, is make a backup of your C and E drive. You can FTP the contents of the drives to your PC and burn them a DVD-ROM (ISO) with Nero, or just use Qwix to create an iso of both of them and burn it to disc. This saved my bacon once. In case anything goes horribly wrong and you can't get into your hacked dash on bootup, you can boot in the X3 firmware menu and FTP the neccesary files to restore your Xbox to a working state.

I'll do the backup thing. Good idea! But I think I'm going to stay away from getting crazy with the customization. Just play it safe with games and skins :-) I just don't have the time and patience to have to de-bug something.

I would have to agree, changing the fonts in the fonts folder of the C partition can, and more than likely will, result in a disaster. Especially if your xbox is softmodded. It would be far better off changing the font through a skin and would probably look better too.
