How much would a Xbox with X3 modchip, 120GB hdd loaded with apps and games, samsung dvd drive, crystal clear case be worth and a bunch of backup games on dvd? Would it be worth trading to a v1.5 (could be upped to 2.7 SE-A) PSP with charger, battery and 1 gb memory stick and some umd's? I don't know anything about PSP's and need someone else's opinion to see if it would be a fair offer to both me and the person with the PSP.

Well, that XBOX sounds a bit like on of my crystal xboxes with the exception of having a 400GB hdd; but it's really be up to what you're looking for to decide fair or not man.

We all know that currently the X3 is the best chip, if you didn't know and you're reading this, now you do. Not to menton what a modded XBOX can do if you let it. If you had aother modded XBOX lying and this was a trade to get you a PSP...I'd say go for it.

I love my PSP but I only use it when the power goes out or I'm traveling. In my line of work, I travel and am away from home a lot so it's worth having. It's just hard for me to look at my gaming TV and consoles, then opt to grab my PSP, lol.

I know you also have the 360+ *cough so I'm sure that has something to do with letting your XBOX go...I'd say do it. A PSP IMO is the best walkman I've ever owned. Na, seriously, it's the best handheld I think to date and it's really like a mini XBOX if ya tweak it just right. I've ended up with 2 4GB mem sticks and 2 2GB mem sticks and it's like a portable media center. I keep it next to my desk at work and while I do paperwork...let it entertain me

I was just trying to get outside opinions because I have no idea what kind of actual value it has. I know what I "think" it should be worth, but others may not see it that way.

Well, you can always compair their prices on the items, like the xbox, hdd, case, modchip, because the mods, apps, games are not really much valued if they are not originals.

No experience with the PSP, I'd simply say, look at it in terms of value. How many people do you know that use their PSP regularly, vs using their Xbox regularly? The financial value is probably similar, so it makes to look at it from a value perspective. In terms of that, it's a no brainer from my perspective. But again, it comes down to if the PSP is for you, a child, and how much it's going to get used.

I'd say go for it because you can sell a PSP now for a whole lot more than the xbox if one day you decide to get rid of it.

well here is my usual 2 cents worth

How much would a Xbox ($100) with X3 modchip (at least $35), 120GB hdd loaded with apps and games (at least $60), samsung dvd drive, crystal clear case ($20) be worth and a bunch of backup games on dvd (jail time, LOL, seriously depends on the amount of game but $25)?

So total i would say $240 to $260 at the least.
May seem a little steep to some but all of those things seperate would be more not to mention the cost of shipping, tax, and installing them if you can not DIY
Plus of course the costs of the games.

Teammodders is pretty cheap and they sell the premodded slightly used console with the X3 CE chip for $220, and that is without the HDD, crystal case and games.

lol, yeah, agreed on the jail time thing, but if this trade were to have taken place, it would have been between two modders. Trading one modded something for another modded something, . Either way, he wanted the cash for the PSP so, I'm not going to be making the trade which is really ok because I really didn't want to part with my xbox anyway.
