Trouble deleting a directory on my X BoX HDD

For months I've been trying to delete these files when I update XBMC /F/Apps/XBMC/mplayer/DVDKeys/. The rest of XBMC will delete, but not these, Is there some sort of protection? ThanX

None that I know of. I've been deleting the entire XBMC directory from my xbox each time I install a newer version with no problems. Your not running XBMC while your trying to delete it are you? If so it could be that it can't delete the files cause there in use?

Yeah, use UnleashX's or Avalaunch's file browser to delete it. I update XBMC each time there's a new Pimped release and never have that prob.

are the files tied in with the game save? If you can delete the XBMC game save and see if it will delete then.

I had this happen the other day, my FTP connection went out in the middle of transferring, and the UX filebrowser wouldn't delete the incomplete file, nor could I delete it through my FTP client. The Avalaunch file browser took care of it no probs, might be worth a shot.
