How do I transfer roms to my Xbox?

Alright, I am fairly new to soft-modding and transfering files to my original Xbox; generally i read the forums to find out what to do. so far so good...

How do I transfer my roms to my Xbox so that I can play them?
Currently I am using my E/ Drive to store my emulator (SMSPlusX)
I can access this emulator on my Xbox dashboard (Evolution X)
However, I cannot access my roms. They may be the wrong file ext.
As of right now I have them in my E/ Drive under a games folder.

Where do I put these rom files, what file extention to i make these roms?

My HDD looks like the following:

---------------
E/
:Backup
:Cache
ash
:eeprom_backup
:Emulators
:Games
:Tdata
:Udata
---------------
E/Emulators
:Sega
---------------
E/Emulators/Sega
:emuskins
:Games
(other files to start up Emulator)
---------------
E/Emulators/Sega/Games
(where I thought I needed to place the roms

Can someone please help me out...
Thanks

I edited out your email, posting emails is against forum rules. There should be a SMSROMS folder inside of SMSPlusX folder. That's the proper destination for the Roms. Either put them in that directory, or rename your Games folder to SMSROMS, all caps. That should get them to show up in SMSPlusX.
