Modding H2

I'm really new to all this modding stuff, I understand how to mod my xbox and i've ordered Splinter Cell and Action Replay of the Internet. However I don't have any idea on how to mod Halo 2 and this is the game I'm modding my Xbox for. I'm a bit of a NooB with all the technical terms, so if anybody could provide a simple walkthrough on how to mod H2 it would be greatly appreciated.

Well simply put there is no such thing as a simple walkthru for modding Halo2 but here are a few tips:

1)Get a program named DotHalo
2)FTP Halo 2 to your computer
3)Open up a map file with DotHalo
4)Modify the weapons and such by changing attributes from 10 to 1000 kind of thing...
5)Patch the file together...
6)FTP the map back to your xbox

For more information look for some of AzzidReigns posts...

Just a quick question - will the .NET Framework make a change to my computer, i.e appearance or programs.

.NET will not change anything, just most new application uses its library of codes. But when you do install .NET it will create a new user account, but you can delete it after you restart the computer.

Just a word of caution, if you need the .net framework for Craxtion, it will inject code into Xisos you create that will allow the iso to be traced back to you. Plus, it's not a good iso tool anyway. CloneXB and Extract Xiso make much more stable Xisos.

I've never heard that one, good to know.

Yeah it's not common knowledge. It doesn't specifically trace it back to you, but it injects code that can be traced back to your IP address, motherboard, OS, ISP, etc. They may not know 100% who created the Xiso, but they will know when and on what PC it was created. Once I found this out, I vowed to never use Craxtion. And honestly, outside of multi-game discs and exploring isos, it's not that useful imo.
