Serious Xbox problem

My brother took apart a xbox but now the power cord is frying part of the mother board, and the light is flashing green and yellow. If someone could let me know how to fix it that would be great.

There is probably a short or a bridge somewhere in the xbox.I suggest you open it up and clean the dust and anything that can cause a problem.

Sounds like the solder on the power supply where the connector and the board meet has broken and it's causing it to arch electricity. You would either need to re-solder the points that have broken loose, or buy a new power supply to fix this problem.
