Hi I was just wanating to check I would be able to FTP my PC to my Xbox with my current connection before I start modding. Here's what it is:

• An ethernet cable between my PC and a router
• The router is WIRELESSLY connected to a adapter
• The adaptor is then connected to my Xbox through another ethernet cable

I can always connect to XBL and when I connect my Xbox 360 to my adapter I can connect to the Media Center on my PC.

PS I am using SmartFTP.

Don't know why that wouldn't work, all you have to do is hook up your Xbox to your router with an ethernet cable, enable DHCP on your Xbox, and you're off. FTPing is very simple, one of the more overrated acts in terms of difficulty really.

K cool, it's just that I always hear people saying it will ONLY work if you have a Crossover/System Link cable.

You need a crossover cable for a direct connection from your PC to your Xbox. If you connect your Xbox to your router, you just need an ethernet cable.
