when i setup my ftp connection it says

i have xbmc dachboard (xbox media center).
ever since i brought my xbox to my friends house it started acting wierd. my killtrocity v2 was working fine and then all the maps fialed. and i brought it home and setup the ftp connection it worked. i deleted the killtrocity v2 and put my halo2 back on, and put my auto update back on. i forgot that the trainers i have dont work wit the auto update so i deleted it back off. i wen and got a made patched it and everything and when i connected my ftp connection and it gave me that message. ive bin trying every ow and then.

CAN SOMEONE PLZZZZZZ HELP ME I REALLY WONT TO TRY OUT SOME OF MY FIRST MODS AND ALL THAT SO IF U CAN HELP ME THATLL BE GREAT.

Try restarting XBMC, I get this error sometimes with the new Pimped releases, it works fine after restarting. Just push in the right analog stick and select Restart XBMC, I believe Pimped and T3ch releases have that feature available. If that doesn't work, some of the files could be over the 32 character Xbox HD limit. Files on the Xbox HD can't be over 32 characters, if they are, you'll get file transfer errors. UnleashX has an auto rename feature under System-->Settings-->System which will automatically rename files over the 32 character limit, very handy. You can just run it as an app, no need to change dashes or anything. UX can be found on AID, Slayer's Install disc, or on Xbins.

i dont have unleash i have evox and sice i cant ftp it over

Try FTPing EvoX then. At least that way you can determine if it's a prob with your network settings or XBMC itself.

i have evox already on my xbox but i dont have unleash and there is no way if transfering cuz of this stupid response. it doesnt show any on my xbox it just comes up with the dumb response.

is there a way i rename the charters with evox insted of unleash

220 messages are nothing bad, I dont see why its not working, What FTP client are you using? Most people uses FlashFXP, I prefer SmartFTP. Try a different FTP client, if you still have problems, check if there are any other errors, probably 550 errors.

im using file zilla ad i tryed flash fxp once or twice so far and it shoes the same stuff the only thing i havnt tryed was the 32 or more character thing because i dont have unleash x
