i was thinking of getting a mod chip but i'm just gonna play emulators on it i'm not gonna spend discs on it either so i'm gonna FTP them to it so i don't think i should buy a mod chip the only game i'll probably have is ninja gaiden black LOL

Just like all homebrew, you need a mod chip or softmod. FTPing is very easy, just use tECh's tut http://www.xtreme-source.com/tutoria...=ftp+made+easy
And yes, SNES, MAME, GBA, NES, Genesis play pretty much perfect. Some game have issues for psx and N64, but overall the xbox is the best resource a person has when it comes to emulation.
