The Best Mod-Chip for v1.6a

Hello and good day to you. I am finally going to purchase a "real" mod-chip.
My question is simple. What is the best and or most flexible chip for a 1.6a? Also maybe someone could link me in the right direction for a good cost savings. Thank-you gentlemen and ladies!

DuoX2 GS is probably a good solution, for a quick cheap modchip. As for location on getting it, im not to sure anymore.

Really, most of the Xbox modchips have similar feature sets. The advantage that a high-end chip like th Xenium Gold, Xecuter 3, or SmartXX is a firmware menu that is able to establish a FTP connection. That way instead of running to Slayer's everytime there is a boot problem, you can simply restore C and E backups or install the dash directly to the boot partition, without having to count on Slayer's booting, a crappy burn, dodgy DVD media, etc.

It may not seem like a big advantage, but it is an amazing convenience when the time comes. Just recently when I made XBMC my default dash with the Xbe Shortcut method, I made some minor mistakes and my Xbox would lock at the Xbox load screen. Instead of having to run to Slayer's, install a dash to C, and figure out which xbe my bios boots from by default, I simply booted into Xenium OS, checked out my shortcut, found the mistake, corrected it, and was up and running within a matter of minutes. It's a really a nice advantage, and I think if you can find them, it's worth paying a bit more for a Xenium Gold, Xecuter 3, or Smart XX chip. As for where to find them, the biggest hint is, you're in Canada.
