other than my ftp problem i cant seem to be able to play actual xbox games like gta3 it always goes to teh dashboard screen. sometimes it loads but freezes, and usually when i am able to get it working i it has lots of glitches and gives this message "there is a problem with teh cd your using. it may be dirty or damaged. when i tried gta3 in my friends xbox unmodded it worked smoothly without any glitches. how can i make it work? if its igr settings im guessing ur talking about teh autorun configuration.

Tech gave you the solution to the FTP problem, see if it works connected directly to your router or PC.

As far as the game, I said you can turn IGR inside the EvoX dash, but with X2 bios, it will probably need turned off in the bios as well. There are a ton of Xbox bios editors. I have never used them, so I can't speak to how well they work. Check around the settings of the EvoX dash. I don't have it installed, but EvoX doesn't have that many options, I'm sure you can find it with a little searching. IGR means in-game reset, it is marked separately in the EvoX dash. So try disabling IGR. Then make sure the time and date is set correctly in the MS Dash. Clear your E-->CACHE. You can do that via FTP or through a file browser. XBMC, Avalaunch, and Unleash X have good file browsers.

Im pretty sure its something with the version of the BIOS, best bet is to get Slayer 2.7 and reinstall the bios/dash. I doubt that In Game Reset has anything to do with legit game, just tried a few mins ago and no effect what so ever.

I don't necessarily think it is the cause either, I just wanted him to clear up the obvious things first. Typical issues involving IGR are backups not booting/freezing, originals not booting is more likely a hardware issue, or perhaps one of those weird games like San Andreas, Destroy All Humans that has strange boot issues.
