Well, your static IP depends on your network's default gateway. For example, if a router's gateway is 192.168.1.1, all IP address (static or DHCP given) will start with the first three segments (192.168.1....)
Now, what the fourth segment is depends on the start number for the range. If your range starts at 100 then your IP, for example, could be 192.168.1.110, 115, 117, 200, etc, etc... The full range depends on your routers settings.
Mine has a range of 255 IP addresses. So, I could have and IP assigned via DHCP or static be anywhere from 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.255.
As for the specifics of features in LIVE and "How to's" I'm not sure. Sorry about that.
