It's a good idea to booktype it. Just booktype it according to whatever make and model DVD drive you have.

Nope, just drag and drop the iso into ImgBurn and burn. To booktype the iso, select the tab in ImgBurn which corresponds to your make and model DVD writer. I cover booktyping in this guide:

How to Backup Xbox 360 Games

Skip down to the bottom of the guide to see how to booktype with ImgBurn.

Ok, i changed the book type to DVD-R DL (under my burners brand name tag) and when i pressed the start button, a window popped up saying that the image can fit on this disk even when it is not writted on double layer. Should I burn it on DL or not?

BTW: I'm being careful through this process and i want everything to be perfect because its the only DL disk i have and I'm craving this game like crazy

Set the booktype for DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM, not DVD-R DL.

Try putting a single layer disc in ImgBurn and see if you get the same error message as before. Logically the game should fit on a single layer disc by deleting the media folder. If the error persists, then it's your call whether or not to try a DL disc.

This game is pissing me off TO THE MAX. I burned it on the dl disk cuz it said that it doesnt fit on a regular disk (i tried again). When i turn on my xbox and put the game in, the disk icon pops up in my avalaunch and when i press it my xbox keeps on frerezing.

btw: was i supposed to set the book type to DL??? because i burned it without changing the book type

Set the booktype for DVD+R DL to DVD-ROM. It's possible you just got a bad iso man. All these issues shouldn't be happening on a stable Xiso. Sometimes people upload isos created with Qwix or Craxtion that are poorly constructed and do not work.

The best solution to test if the game works is to upload the iso to your Xbox HDD with Qwix. Setup your network for FTP and upload the iso to your F or E-->Games folder (depending how your Xbox HDD is partitioned) and use this guide:

Loading an ISO with Qwix
