Lightbulb Connecting With Usb??? :s

HI, i was just wondering if i'll be able to connect my xbox to my pc with a usb cable, i have the usb thing for my xbox (the thing that u can plug a keyboard into). Are there any usb cables that have that ending on both sides? And if there is, will my pc be able to recognize the xbox as a storage device?

Nah, this won't work for a couple reasons. Once a HDD is formatted as an Xbox HDD, Windows won't recognize it. The difference in the file systems and partitions causes Windows to not recognize it, at least not all the different partitions. I don't believe Windows will recognize it all, but it might pick up some of it. Either way, it won't be reliable for data storage through a standard PC OS.

On the other end, if you have modified one of your controller ports for use with a keyboard, mouse, or storage device, it is possible for a modded Xbox to pick up a FAT32 parition up to 4GB's. A modified Xbox can recognize FAT32 partitions in UnleashX and XBMC. However it will only recognize the storage device as 4GB's. So if you plug a 200GB external into the Xbox, it will only recognize 4GB's. This might be useful for a flash drive, but certainly not for a large external HDD.
