ok i deleted the "RUN LINUX" save in mechassault of my xbox and now i can only get the EVOX dash...what can i do to get SID back up and running

You can't get to the MS dash?? If you haven't already, download Auto Installer Deluxe 2.11 final, burn the iso to a disk, boot it, choose install softmod+msdash. This will re-install the softmod, plus let you use the MS dash as well.

You could try to FTP them over as well. Or if you can get to the MS dash, copy them back over that way.

ok...so there is no way to restore everything from just the evox dash? is there a way to load the ms dash?

Just a thought. If you still have the M$ Dash backup on the HDD wouldnt you bebale to FTP or file explorrer sinnce Evox is still loading and then change the Evox dash with the M$ dash restart and then copy the game save to the HDD using the M$ dash?

At first he wasn't able to FTP, for some reason, it would only let him FTP into his xbox when he booted to the SID installer menu. And his ms dash wouldn't load either. But, he got the ftp problem sussed and got it going again. Good job man. See, I told it it wasn't that big of a problem! At least you won't have to re-install everything from scratch!

yah once again thank you Sadilus for calming me down...it was my brothers XBOX i just got him and i didn't want to mess his up cause then i would feel bad and give him mine ...thanks again and i will make a tut on how to recover from this kind of thing in the futur
