Hello all,
I wanted to make an animated avatar. So I found the intro video of one of my favorite games (Tekken5). I used MGI Vdeowave 5 (very old school, but super easy program to edit with). After I produced my new avi, I used Amazing Photo Editor to convert it to an animated gif. It looks great, but when I uploaded it, as you can see, it's not animated. Can someone help me out? Also, I read the rules before making it and tried painstakingly to get the size under 512k. But then I noticed a lot of other ones are almost double that size. Can I also make mine larger? How large can I make it? It would be nice since I had to keep cutting little snipets from the movie and reducing the transition effect and quality of the avi to about 60%. Thanks in advance, black |

Here is the link on imageshack. It works on my pc and also on imageshack. I even changed the avatar link to the imageshack url instead of from my pc. Still not working
http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/9282/untitledzo3.gif I also noticed that when I r-click on my avatar and "save image as" it is saying that it is a jpg. Nevermind...it's working now! I guess it doesn't update older posts :-) |

Thanks!
Now I need to work on a sig :-) Hey paddymail, Sorry to bother you, but whatever you did, can you do it again? I edited the image a bit (I'm very picky) and didn't realize that the same thing would happen. Here is the new link from imageshack: http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/8202/t5my2.gif Appreciate it! |
